Paper trading

Paper trading lets you practice with simulated money. It's local and persistent, and paper orders never route to a live exchange.

Order types

The order ticket supports:

• Market — fill at the current price.
• Limit — fill only at your price or better.
• Stop — trigger into an order when price reaches a level.

Position tracking

DegenView tracks your net position with weighted-average cost, the same accounting used by Portfolio. Open positions and resting orders are marked directly on the chart, so you can see where you stand as you watch price.

Why use it

• Test an idea before risking anything.
• Learn the order flow without a live account.
• See how a strategy would have behaved over time.
